Bow down to Westbound & Down’s 13.2% ABV bourbon barrel-aged Barleywine!

BBA Louie encapsulates the elegance of traditional English Barleywines, with an American spin from delicious Kentucky whiskey barrels. To bestow the most royal of flavors, they aged the English Malt base in Eagle Rare 10, Weller and Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 11 months!

Malty richness and notes of creme brûlée dance on the palate, with nutty toffee flavors swirling through a vanilla finish. It’s a veritable court of delicious dark flavors, featuring a touch of date and fig.

Seriously, every sip is so complex and delicious you may start singing to the can like the King sings to Mowgli in The Jungle Book: “Oobie-doo, I wanna drink another one of you-ooh-ooh!”

Nice little beer (8 oz can). Wish it was bigger! Smooth, warming flavors. Everything you'd expect in a quality English barleywine.
