Sometimes I wonder if the crew at Drekker is concocting their brews in a secret laboratory underneath a North Dakota produce aisle.

I can see it now — lightning flashes as a hysterical laugh rings through the air. Steam rises from the floorboards and the silhouette of a fruit-crammed can suddenly darkens the door marked ‘Employees Only.’

Tasting Notes

Grab a lab coat for your taste buds because this Fruited Sour is bursting with drippy mango and juicy prickly pear. Tieing together the thick sips are ribbons of vanilla and a dose of lactose for a sugary shimmer that bolsters the creamy, tropical melon and stone fruit flavors.

A pinch of sea salt gives a final lift to the gulp, accentuating its sweetly tart balance and belying the 6.2% ABV as it slowly creeps over you.

Excellent flavor profile. I'm a big fan of prickly pear, so I'd prefer a bit more of that in the mix, but that's nitpicking. Nice thick consistency and great color. Very easy to drink.

This was absolutely delicious, the mango and prickly pear did not disappoint, the mango gave it a nice mellow sweetness and you can taste the pear on the end. Would buy this one again!

I’d say more of a dominate mango taste! But still amazingly refreshing definitely worth a grab!

4.56/5 look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.75 | feel: 5 | overall: 4.5 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Look- Dark orange, opaque, a small amount of visible particulate, light yellow sudsy head, below average head retention, granular residue on glass sidewall instead of lacing. Smell- Prickly pear, mango, medium strength of scent. Taste- Mango, prickly pear, vanilla, high strength of flavor. Feel- Full body, below average carbonation, sweet, sour, silky, nectar like. Overall- Look was dark orange and opaque. Bouquet was a pleasant mix of prickly pear and mango. Flavors matched bouquet with well balanced notes of vanilla. Feel was great with a nectar like, silky and full bodied character. This beer provided a delicious drinking experience.
