I mean...what can I say? There isn’t a single Braaaaaaaains Double Fruit Smoothie Sour that exists with less than a 4.2 UT rating. You know ‘em, you love ‘em, nobody can get enough of ‘em. And now? We’ve got another.

Ready for your brain to explode? This time it’s all raspberry, raspberry, raspberry!

That’s right, the Sour savants at Drekker used all the raspberries they could get their hands on and hit them with their double secret smoothie treatment: sea salt, lactose, and vanilla beans.

It’s thick, it’s decadent, it’s tart, it’s sweet. It’s what loyal Drekker drinker @Michael V. is calling his “favorite Braaaaaaaains” yet!

I’ll give it to you straight: our stock of these puppies won’t last long. Like zombies on the hunt for brains, you folks are crazed for these sour sippers. Just be careful not to trample each other on your way to checkout, please.

This one is loaded with raspberries. It has a very mild beer taste and tastes like I picked raspberries straight from my garden and tossed them in the blender. Delicious. Refreshing.

Straight out of the can, the pour is super thick and almost chunky. Very little carbonation. First sip is super delicious with a very jammy first impression. Tastes of raspberry with perhaps a touch of strawberry. Main complaint is the sourness level of this beer is super low, which the lactose addition makes worse. The finish is a bit cloyingly sweet with a hint of vanilla, which makes the beer less refreshing and more filling. A good, but not great milkshake sour.
