About This Beer
To craft Braaaiins! Pumpkin Ale for Zombies, the Spring House crew used so much real pumpkin in the mash, you’d think they were out of their gourds. Then, like leaves colorfully coating the earth each fall, they sprinkled it with autumnal spices for gorgeous seasonal flair. A bit of sweet dough adds a pie crust complement.
Tasting Notes
Every orange-amber pour brims with graham cracker aromas. The sip follows like a slice of toast slathered in cinnamony pumpkin butter — pie filling swirled with spice before a bready finish.

Love Braaaaiins!

Good pumpkin flavor, but overpowered by cinnamon.
3.5
Strong spice aroma, with cinnamon that has just a hint of heat, then nutmeg as expected, but quickly transitions to vegetal pumpkin. Nice combo of real pumpkin with complementary spice additions.

Light flavor, but strong enough to cover the alcohol taste. One of the better in the pumpkin pack

Nice and not too sweet for me. First sip was pumpkin cheesecake.

Maybe I got a bad apple, but this tasted like something was wrong with it in comparison to the other pumpkin ales I’ve had

As described not overly strong but get a little cinnamon with the pumpkin

Potpourri beer. Needs the malt, sweetness dial just slightly tweaked up and would work.overwhelming spice literally like chewing on potpourri which I’ve done accidentally once when I confused table aroma deco for party snack when tipsy I almost poured out at first but kept at it and started to appreciate further in

Better balanced flavor than I remember in years’ past. Sweet, with a decent touch of cinnamon and spice.

Had a very "fake" pumpkin spice flavor. It hit the tongue with a punch that never really softened. Too malty for my taste

I’m not a pumpkin flavor fanatic but I love Braaaiins, try with a cinnamon sugar Tim for full experience.

Great pumpkin ale! Not too sweet like a cider, more beer kick.

Pumpkin ales feel like a hit or a miss for me, and this one was unfortunately a miss. Too much spices, not enough pumpkin.

Dad grind edition. This has all the spice, all the notes and is another SH Braaaaiins winner. Love the series and this has a solid malt base with pumpkin and spice and everything Fall nice.

Pumpkin ale season is honest once again. This beer pours out at dark copper with a very scant head. Aroma and taste both follow the traditional pumpkin pie spice pattern , touches of cinnamon clove, cardamom and of course pumpkin. Nothing new here nothing exciting.
