About This Beer
When the malt maestros at Firestone Walker decided to amp up their Imperial Brown Ale, Bravo, they began with a high-gravity variant.
They started with chocolate rye and six other specialty malts hopped with Willamette, Tettnager, and CTZ. Then, they aged the brew in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for a year before finally blending it with a batch of the original Bravo!
Tasting Notes
Rich notes of toffee, caramel, and dates mingle with chocolatey nuances in each sip. Sticky, cola-like whispers of woody maple and creamy vanilla round out the taste before a lingering whiskey finish that calls for a delicious encore.

Nice. Sticky. Brown ale mellows out the BA barleywine dried fruit flavors. 4.15
