About This Beer
Firestone Walker brewed today’s historic Bretta Weisse in honor of the Berliner Weisse, the popular beer made in old Berlin. It’s a love letter to the historic style that Frederick The Great himself brewed! Firestone Walker crafted a beautiful sipper, aged in French oak horizontal foeders for 8 months lending complex barrel characteristics to the refreshing brew!
Tasting Notes
Subtle funk begins each taste, with notes of ester fruit aromas. Tropical citrus fills the beginning of every sip, before diving in with soft flaked oats and nuances of oak, enveloped in a firm acidity. Refreshing tartness comes right at the finish.
