Back in elementary school, I was always jealous of my buddy Jordan’s lunches.

My own parents would send me off with $1.25, and I’d end up with whatever lame excuse for food they sold in the cafeteria.

Jordan’s lunches, though, were KILLER. Shielded by a brown paper bag, they’d feature things like homemade peanut butter and jelly, Doritos, Oreos, and Capri Sun. If I offered to trade, he’d laugh and say, “You wish!”

Fast forward to today, and Jordan is finally jealous of MY Brown Bag Lunches!

Like loving parents, Weathered Souls crafted this Sour with heaps of strawberries and blueberries for a mouthwatering, almost jam-like texture! Peanut butter adds a creamy nuttiness, and graham crackers give it a hint of pie crust sweetness.

It’s the kind of lip-smacking brew we’ve come to expect from this Texas team, who HopCulture dubbed the Best Craft Brewery of 2020!

Brown Bag Lunches is super crushable, so I can drink it with lunch and still help my own kids with their school work! And if Jordan asks to trade? Sorry, man — you’ll have to hop on Tavour and get your own!

Not a huge fan of the flavor combo. But the flavors that are there are easy to taste and quite good!

The nose of this sour smells exactly like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. After that, it comes across to be as rather unbalanced and vinegary. The body just tastes sour with not much peanut butter and not much jelly up front. Towards the end, grape jelly does come through and lasts through the aftertaste. An unusual tasting sour.

It was not as sour as I thought it would be! Which I liked and had a good balance with the flavors. Others I have tried you taste more of the fruit flavors than the peanut butter.

Wow - that’s really a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. First aroma is totally a PB&J. The jelly flavor - sweet but a bit too sour and the peanut butter is dead on, all the way through to the final waft. For what it is - it’s solid.

I will admit- it took me a sec. I’ve genuinely never tasted anything like it, but after a few sips I was a happy camper. I would recommend it to anyone that likes the taste of good tasting beer!

Delicious, absolutely delicious. Tastes just like pb and j lunch! The smell is like a bowl of Trix Cereal, almost identical actually.

Was described as a PBJ style sour, it seemed to fall a bit short of its description. Very subtle on the peanut butter flavor to the point that it seemed more akin to a fruit sour. The sour-ness was good, however.
