In a nod to the show-stopping, fiery New Orleans cocktail Brulot Diabolique, the crew at Grimm aged their Stout base in Taconic whiskey and brown sugar rum barrels, then layered it with cinnamon, cloves, coffee, and orange zest!

crazy good in a way. very complex as the description says. first the whiskey and rum barrels hit. then your left with a citrus finish.

Nice combination of orange and cinnamon on the stout base. Whiskey aging is a good touch.

Subtle aromatic notes of orange essence, with a warming finish of cinnamon and cloves. On the exhale, I detected more of the bitterness of dark roast coffee beans, as well as the brown sugar sweetness and roundness of rum-infused wood.
