A Note on This Beer

So what if your in-laws arrive 43 minutes late? Who cares if your Uncle throws a football into your cousin’s TV? The minute you pop the cork there will finally be something your beer-snob dad and prosecco drinking sister-in-law can agree on: tart and bubbly Cache Flow Apple.

When it’s time for a big holiday dinner with your loved ones (and not-so-loved-ones) this is the thing to fill your flute with, brought to you by THE rebel accountants turned Belgian beer brewers of Indiana: Taxman.

No matter how picky your guests’ taste buds are, this rare apple Beer brings everyone together. Taxman’s inspired used of hyper-local ingredients and meticulous attention to detail within traditional European Sours means they can create a 40% apple juice brew that’s pleasing to all palates. It’s got...

  • The dry, oaky essence of Champagne
  • The biscuity, malty backbone of a Blonde Ale
  • The fruity, sweet-n-sour tang of a Cider
  • The crisp apple flavor of fresh-pressed Apple Juice

Taxman nails the vivid depth of flavor by using three types of apples, one of which is the super-rare Arkansas Black fresh from a nearby farm. The farm delivers fresh-pressed apple juice to Taxman, sans sulfites or preservatives. The brewers blend it with a Sour Blonde Base, made with multiple mixed culture strains, and aged in French Oak Barrels for up to 15 months.

With all its complexity and palate-pleasing apple character, Taxman’s Cache Flow Apple will bring a moment of peace to your holiday table -- for at least as long as it takes to drain the flute. More beer, anyone?

08/22/18. Fell out of my fridge and got bumped up the to drink list! Hints of apple on top of a light and tart sour. Nicely appley. I think apple sours are rare cause they add up to the tart instead of complementary. Think apple juice in a nice sour.
