The GABF award winners at Divine Barrel specialize in recreating our favorite childhood desserts in their beers.

With each slurp of today’s fruit-soaked Cadillac Rainbows Berliner Weisse, I feel like I’m licking melty Baskin Robbins Rainbow Sherbet right off the cone!

The brewery crafts it with massive amounts of fresh mangoes, zesty guavas, drippy passionfruit, and sweet peaches for all the fruity-goodness associated with the classic frozen confection.

Flavors of citrus-packed, passionfruit sherbet explode on the forefront of the palate. On the finish, a subdued tartness lingers, pulling you in for another lick, er… sip!

Just be careful not to slurp this tropical-delight too fast. It goes down quicker than a bowl of melted ice cream, and us Baskin Robbins frequenters know just how painful a brain-freeze can be!

We’re not the only craft-dessert lovers going berserk over Divine Barrel’s boozy-treat, either. Thrillist lauds their brewery as one of the best in Charlotte!

Ton of fruit flavor the guava and passion fruit hit on the front end with a hint of mango on the back. Very light beer as Weisse style beers are. Tastes like a mimosa or Bellini
