About This Beer
Not only is Cannaheim teeming with lupulin-laced juice from Centennial, Mosaic Incognito, Simcoe, Strata, and Columbus Hops, it brims with kush-inspired Pineapple Express and San Fernando Valley OG terpenes!
Tasting Notes
Cracking a can is like opening a bag of fruit mixed with fresh, sticky-icky bud. The sip follows with a bright backbone of lemon, white grape, and mixed berry nuances. The hop character wraps around pine-inflected pineapple and lemon tones, ending the gulp with a hint of diesel and a kiss of tropical-flavored Swisher Sweets.

very dank IPA

Good beer, but I wish there was more terpene character and less sweetness.

Piney, dank aromas. Soft mouthfeel, minimal bitterness. Bursting with floral notes, with plenty of pine and lemon. Different. Dank. Really good.

Honey gold pour. Frothy white head. Aroma of citrus fruit and resiny pine. Flavor is intensely herbal. Notes of weed, mint, cut grass and lime zest. Quite an unusual flavor profile. Notes of red berries, citrus and pineapple.

A star rating is a bit hard to decide on here. On the one hand, there is very little terpene character or dankness, so the beer misses its own mark. On the other, this is quite possibly the best IPA I’ve ever had. Most often, there’s hints or notes of a hop’s flavor profile, but this is the real deal, absolutely dripping with tropical fruit flavors and hits of citrus. Surprisingly light and refreshing for a DIPA, goes down dangerously easy. Just a truly fantastic beer.

Big West Coast DIPA with lots of pineapple character but also pretty bitter. Fairly light bodied for 9%. 🇮🇱
