About This Beer
The beer-istas started with a blend of Imperial Stouts aged 25-27 months in freshly-emptied six-year E.H. Taylor Bourbon, 15-year Blanton’s Bourbon, and ten-year Eagle Rare Bourbon barrels. Then they wrapped it up in cafe decadence by conditioning the brew on Madagascar vanilla beans, caramel syrup, and cold-brewed espresso.
Tasting Notes
Each sip is seriously like an iced latte! Rich coffee notes collide with lavish swirls of caramel and creamy vanilla flavors. Subtle whispers of barrel char and warming whiskey peek through on the backend, lending sublime balance to the sweetness.

note: don't drink before bed. normally coffee beers don't keep me up but this one definitely did.

yeesh - too thick and too sweet. I cannot do these medianoche stouts anymore. it’s not awful, but I’ve moved on from whatever they’re offering.

If a vanilla caramel latte was the inspiration, I'd say they nailed it. Syrupy sweet brew. Dangerous.

disappointing. not even close to the description.
