About This Beer
To craft Champion of the Sun, the award-winning team at Drekker started with their Russian Imperial Stout called Nightman, already rich with chocolate, toffee, and oaky vanilla flavors from a long rest in Heaven Hill and Old Fitzgerald Bourbon barrels. Then, they conditioned it on mounds of hand-toasted macadamia nuts, cacao nibs, and coffee beans — custom roasted just for this brew!

Wow-cocoa nib hits you right off the bat, very strong. Never tasted the other notes but that’s okay…found some cocoa nibs at the bottom of my glass.

It’s
decent. Good flavor and not sweet… but a little thin body.
