It’s the first Bourbon Barrel Aged and Cherry Bitters Barrel Aged beer we’ve ever had!

Cherry Barrel Blossom (2020) is aged in both Bourbon Barrels and Cherry Bitters Barrels. The Cherry Bitters barrels previously held Bourbon, and then were converted to Bitters use. The final product is a blend of the two.

Very few breweries in the world have access to these barrels.

To craft Cherry Barrel Blossom, Firestone takes their 11.2% ABV, award-winning Imperial Walker’s Reserve Smoked Porter, and ages it in both types of Barrels with sea salt. The smoked malts in the Porter base enhance its nuanced smokiness, while the barrels bring fruity accents to the bourbony vanilla-caramel, sweet tobacco, and dark chocolate.

Cherry Barrel Blossom urges you to take your time and savor each deep, nuanced sip. No need to rush to pop this beer-jewel open — the brewery says it can age for up to a decade and will unveil new flavor dimensions over time.
