About This Beer
The FoBAB-winning team brewed this Belgian-style Stout using a classic combination of roasty artisan malts and dark candi sugar. They added vanilla for its creamy sweetness and they aged this variant in cherry brandy barrels to give it a delectably desserty depth.
Tasting Notes
Each quaff is like a caramel mocha with undertones of flan and dark fruit. Hints of raisin, fig, and fresh Bing cherry bounce around the taste while barrel tones bolster the smooth custard nuances with oaky vanilla that lingers into the warming finish.

Dark brown pour, mostly clear, head fades. Boozy aroma, malty. Taste is warm, malty, lightly boozy, cherry and vanilla are mere accents. The Sea Salt Caramel was far superior.

nice cherry finish.
