About This Beer

This is the fifth batch of 903’s Chupacabra Oak-Aged Imperial Stout! Every one highlights different adjuncts, for a unique experience time and time again. #5 comes full of roasty coffee, sweet cinnamon, spicy cayenne, rich chocolate, and gooey marshmallow, so every sip tastes just like a Mexican hot chocolate! And trust us, it is MUCH more pleasant to have this Chupacabra in your beer fridge. A real Chupacabara would probably destroy the shelving, break the fridge light, drink your 903 beer…it wouldn’t be good.

Another solid stout from 903! Very coffee, chocolate, and marshmallow forward. Some hints of spice from the cayenne, but not super cinnamon heavy. As you sip the cinnamon comes out much more on the nose, so maybe it's my improper enjoyment glass causing problems as it has in the past. A bit booze flavor heavy, so not a perfect 5. Please get this!

I dig the cinnamon and cayenne spice commingling with the marshmallow sweetness. The barrel flavor is present, but mild. Second time I’ve had it - picked up more roasted coffee on this go round. I gave it a .25 bump. Lots going on here.

overall an a great stout. very nice pour, strong coffee on the nose and a nice velvety feel with Mexican chocolate vibes. Does have a little spice kick on the back of the palate, not spicy.

Just enough Cinnamon to give it some spice, but not overdone. Can still taste the coffee and marshmallow. Gets even better as it warms up a little.

Utterly decadent thanks to the harmony of its flavors, but balanced enough so as not to be too sweet. The ABV is well hidden, so be careful: this beast has a bite.

big hint of chocolate mixed with an already dark brew hitting you straight up in the face but at the same time going down smooth. it's dark rich cinnamon flavors really hit the spot as well.

As good as Chupacabra batch 3. One of the tastiest and easiest stouts to get into the style with, in my opinion. Absolutely loaded with flavours that change as the beer warms in the glass
