I finally taught my 75 year-old Dad how to use Zoom.

As (half of) his face popped onto the screen, with the audio ACTUALLY on, we waved our fists in the air with excitement! Then, he lifted his can of Clear Sky Coconut Cream Pie from Wolf’s Ridge into the frame. 

I won’t lie, I shed a tear. 

Why? Well, my father was the very guy to get me into craft brews. And, it was the first time in a long while we’ve had a chance to do a tasting together, even if we had to do it virtually. 

This expertly-crafted Cream Ale, brewed with heaps of lavish toasted coconut and opulent vanilla beans, was JUST the luxuriously sweet treat to get the two of us back in the swing of things.

Sipping simultaneously, I mentioned how its decadent, dessert-like flavor melds harmoniously with the crisp, Cream Ale base. Then, my Dad described how the notes of shaved coconut, combined with the whipped-cream-like vanilla-sweetness, reminded him of Mom’s classic Coconut Pie.

I think we can all agree; it’s been tough to stay connected with the folks who matter most this year. But, if you can share a slice of this brew-pie, even virtually, you may just feel like you’re still together.
