The Virginia brewers at Adroit Theory are renowned metalheads and SciFi nerds. In fact, their intricate can art is almost as coveted as the beers themselves! Their devoted following of fans devour new releases and adorn their shelves at home with empty cans like prized trophies. 

In fact, these diehard Adroit-ers often drink the brewery dry in online pre-sales before the beer even hits the taproom!

So when today’s brand new Cleopsis Rising Imperial IPA arrived on my doorstep, I held it high while reveling in its majesty. 

Eventually, my admiration of the hop-tipped, spear-wielding maiden that adorns the can spurred a fascinating Google rabbit hole. First, I had to answer the question, who the heck is Cleopsis? 

Well, turns out, Cleopsis is this badass from Egyptian mythology who’s the daughter of Death and was sent to live amongst the humans to learn our ways. But, she became obsessed with power, and eventually, Death doomed her back to the Underworld where she remains… waiting to rise again. 

And, after tasting this hopped up juice, I’d say Cleopsis is definitely making a comeback! 

I mean, fans on Untappd like @Tim H. are already pledging their adoration, praising Cleopsis Rising as “one of the best IPAs I’ve had in a long time!!!” 

If you want to score a taste of this latest hoppy brew, you better act fast! Because once word about today’s brand new beer reaches the craft collector sphere, all Hell’s gonna break loose as Adroit fans near and far hunt for Cleopsis.
