A Note on This Beer

A Downpour of Hops: This brewers used a deluge of Citra, Galaxy, and Nelson Sauvin Hops in this beauty! Flooded with Flavor: White grapefruit, apricot, and peach flavors rain from every drop of this Hazy cloud!

When Forager Brewing scored a medal at The Growler’s Kind-of-a-Big-Deal Reader’s Choice Awards, they knew they had to get their beer beyond Minnesota. Their fans insisted it was too good not to share!

That’s how Humble Forager was born!

If you’re a fan of Hazy brews, you should probably thank your lucky stars that they created this sister brewery. Without it, you’d have to trek all the way to the Land of 10,000 Lakes to get a taste of Cloud Hopping v2.

Granted, the trip might be worth it for a sip of this brew’s pillow-soft body, dry finish, and tropical flavors. But, you don’t have to worry about packing up the car — traveling right now is tricky anyway.

Instead, you can just order a few cans of Cloud Hopping and let it take your tastebuds on a journey through groves of citrus, stone fruit orchards, and forests of pine! That’s a rewarding trip, too.

“Some of the Midwest’s most renowned beers!” - October Magazine

It's got end hops, but it's got lost of different taste in there, then again I'm using a teku glass, so I have to say, "a sold 4.25 for me "

i really enjoyed the fruity flavors but the after taste was just about unbearable. i bought 2 and couldn’t finish the first one after a couple sips. i don’t think it’s the manufacturers fault, i just didn’t realize what i was getting myself into.

You can really taste the wheat and oats. It adds to the hoppy flavor. Very soft citrus taste.

The flavor at the front end is good, but finishes a tad too harsh and bitter for me. But that also makes me sound like a whiny little bitch. “Oh, woe is me with my $8 beer... it’s not perfect.” I mean... It’s still probably better than 98% of all beers consumed today. Granted... it’s a Tuesday.

Roll your can, let it warm up a hair and the flavors pop soft and pillowy mouthfeel. citrus tones, tropical juice, citrus zest and stone fruit flavors and aromas.

Very tasty IPA. Very pungent hops but a citrus taste falls over the back of the tongue. Good brew

Super pithy with a smack of bitterness to both front palate and finish. More like a Pale Ale style than a juicy NEIPA.

Great mouth feel and flavors up front but they disappear immediately. A dry bitter pale ale flavor rounds the beer out with a bitter feel that lasts for longer than it should. More of a pale ale than NEIPA. Wouldn’t buy again until they change their label to reflect their lack of NEIPAness

Flavor of cereal malts and bright, zesty citrus. Hoos are citrusy, earthy, and herbal. Pretty good DIPA, more bitter than I usually see in this style. Drinks easy, flavor is good. Not a lot of layers to it, but what's there is solid. Worth trying.

A dry white wine juiced from palest grapefruit and apricot. There's a pillowy soft flatness to this. Ride across pastel landscapes on arid waves of barely humidified air, scented with severely burned peach hair. The hazy is a thick plastic canteen, unfilled; bone dry.
