A Note on This Beer
To make today’s tart sipper, the brewers at Humble Forager loaded their Sour base with some rarely-seen tropical magic: pink dragon fruit! Each sip brims with the lush, sweet, kiwi-esque succulence only this fruit provides!
That’s not all! There are a few more tangy-sweet treasures in there, too! Passion fruit and soursop!
Passion fruit creates a balanced, sour zippiness. Soursop adds a bite of bright strawberry flavor and an amazing banana/coconut creaminess.
This Sour Ale sips like a thick, dewy-fresh fruit smoothie, blended up at a beachside bar, right on the soft white sands of Mexico! Even the bright magenta hue of the brew reminds me of a glorious equatorial sunset.
The tropical explosion of flavor is even prompting Coastal series superfan Vince O. to call V11 one of his “favorite Coastals yet!” That’s high praise considering Humble Forager has eleven different variations in their beloved Fruited Sour series.
The only issue: finding this Sunshine is almost as hard as finding those rare tropical fruits. Humble Forager’s brews don’t leave the Midwest very often, except for right here!
Humble Forager is only a year old and already earning praise from PorchDrinking and Growler Mag!
