About This Beer
Brewed with toasted coconut, chocolatey dark malts, and a hefty dose of vanilla beans, Coco Van is as crave-worthy as ever. In fact, the sheer drinkable decadence of this sipper will have you questioning its 12% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Each thick-bodied sip bursts with so much coconut creme and cacao notes, it could put Hershey out of business! Especially with those rich and roasty malts holding everything together underneath!

Strong and dark, a great imperial stout if ever there was one. Autocorrect: happiness.

Like drinking a lovely mix of Hershey’s syrup and coconut cream. Hits HARD though. Make sure you drink on a full stomach because I drank mine very quickly, post workout, and almost fell over 20 minutes later when trying to stand up. 😂

Love the stouts from this brewery. Drinking a candy bar.

Boozy and smooth. I'm allergic to dark beers, and this one was WORTH IT

Wow! Almost too sweet to enjoy. Not terrible tho.

More cacao than anything. Coconut as a finisher isn’t to bad no harsh Liquorish aftertaste. I like.

Thick and syrupy, chocolate right away with a nutty finish. Its a sipper with its consistency for sure.

I know it’s coconut and vanilla, but it’s like drinking an almond joy!! Absolutely fabulous!!!

Not sure why, but the few Hubbard's Cave stouts I have had sound great from the description, but so far have been big disappointments. Don't think I'll be grabbing anymore from here.

Very thick and sweet like a chocolate and vanilla cheesecake.

For a stout you don’t taste anything but coconut which is amazing it’s not super heavy but light and steady.

Great taste. Couldn't get past the syrupy consistency. Edit: had second can. Poured it out. Cannot drink. Too syrupy.

Think and strong beer. I think this DOES put Willy Wonka out of business. If you like think chocolate/ nut beers, this is great. Nice aftertaste

Very sweet. Dark chocolate almond joy in a can. Definitely a desert beer.

Delicious. Thick. They always hide that ABV well

Very vanilla forwad with a subtle coconut in the background. I hoping for the coconut to be dialed in a little stronger but all around a very good drinkable stout for 12%.

I feel bad…I left this one sitting around for ages thinking it wouldn’t be great, and when I eventually drank it I really enjoyed it! fantastic dark beer with coconut and malt/vanilla as the prominent flavors. Despite the high alcohol content I could have had another!

coconut and vanilla are overpowered. seems like all Hubbard Cave stouts taste the same to me

Strong and tasty. It was very rich in chocolate and i would definitely share it as it’s too much for one person in one sitting.

Coq au Vin, it is not, but the coconut and vanilla pair nicely and give a creamy mouthfeel
