Damn good. Pours like mud and has a toasty brown head.

Aroma of fresh ground espresso. So smooth! Huge punch of cocoa and delicious coffee. Aftertaste of fudge. Tastes like zero abv until it hits the stomach and then it warms the belly nicely. Another champion stout from Fremont

Underwhelming. Thin.

Not for me. Do not like heavy coffee flavor and this is like drinking espresso. I could taste some oak flavor as well but heavy coffee on this one.

If I remember correctly this brew is a new concoction for Freemont. And it truly was a beer to savor! The coconut was ever prevalent but not overwhelming as some beers can be. It wasnt sickly sweet which happens alot too in coconut brews. The vanilla was nice on the backend, making this evening sipper the perfect beer to enjoy w a fire, not sharing w anyone.

Viscous. Nose: dark roast coffee, warm bourbon. Taste: dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, boozy, creamy vanilla, warm bourbon finish with a slight burnt coffee bitterness. Excited to see how this one ages and mellows.

I do not have many tasting notes to add to this because I got very drunk having this beer. But I do recall it being very delicious and that I loved it. So this gets a 5 all the way, for a good memory I can't quite remember. Lol 🤣

Another great DS variant

Bitter. I don’t get it. The coconut was there but really dominated by less pleasing lingering bitterness.

Total coffee bomb and probably one of my faves from Fremont

Very good, but I think I had built this brewery up in my mind so much that I was expecting a lot more.

Much thinner than I expected. Not much sweetness. More oak and roasted coffee flavors coming through.

Coffee, cacao, & vanilla are all present in this but I guess I was hoping for a little more from each. Each flavor is almost a little too subtle. Still very good

Oh my god.... you couldn’t tell me this was almost 13% abv. I wish I would’ve ordered more.

Basically just get coffee

A good blend of the flavors and nice and smooth. Doesn’t come off as boozy like many barrel aged higher ABV stouts.

Its fremont brewing, what else is there to say?

Aroma of coffee roastiness along with light bourbon and chocolate. Taste follows aroma. All flavors work well together with light vanilla sweetness working to balance the booziness and roastiness.

It wasn't as delicious as I thought. 🤔
