About This Beer
To craft this one, the legendary California crew teamed up with friends at Common Space Brewery. The duo started by aging a rich base in bourbon barrels. Then they finished it on toasted coconut and almonds.
Tasting Notes
Enormous nutty aromas waft out of every pour. Whiskey caramel cascades over coconut date rolls on every chewy quaff. Candied almond carries underneath with toasted oak spice, none of it giving away the bold 15% ABV.

Nice silky body with boozy warmth, sweet taste. Coconut taste subdued. Good BW taste and body, ABV well hidden.

This barley wine is extremely amazing(and I've had; "Anchorage Brewing: Deal With the Devil")! The smell is mostly coconut, then, a hint of almond, but, the smell of almond is not lost in the almost overwhelming coconut aroma. This glorious ambrosia has the same consistency of nectar, and has the insanely high alcohol content that helps to explain; why I used such words as: ambrosia and nectar. This beer to liqueur crossover, is very light on the soy sauce taste, but is still the first flavor that you taste. BBA also stands for: beautifully bad ass and accurately describes this rich,coconutty, alcohol fueled dream .

The coconut flavor is quite subtle, in a good way. Doesn’t taste like a Barleywine Pina Colada.
