A Note on This Beer
“Now THAT is how much coconut should be in a coconut beer! The best beer made in Texas.” @Justin W.
“Brownie batter smothered in toasted coconut and cherries. Perfection.” @Oh S.
“One of the best Stouts ever!” @Brian C.
Creamy cascades of coconut and chocolate course through every sip of today’s 4.33 UT-rated stunner. Rich rum notes and subtle cherry carry into a smooth macaroon finish.
And it’s all wrapped in a massive 13% ABV, baby!
To craft Colombiana, the crew at Martin House brewed a velvety Stout with sweet cherry puree and flaked coconut. Then, they aged it all in rum barrels for four and a half months, giving the brew some decadent cocktail flair.
And like a proper Almond Joy, these brews come in twos! Share your second 12oz liquid confection with a friend, or cellar it to richen Colombiana’s chocolate truffle complexities.
Either way, if you’d like to get a taste of this rum barrel-aged coconut lover’s dream, you might want to grab this limited release quickly. Otherwise, you might end up waiting a full year for another shot at this stellar, fan-favorite Stout!
