A Note on This Beer
Today’s Composure Triple Dry-Hopped Quadruple IPA from Anchorage Brewing is so new, only a handful Alaskan locals have even tried it.
Seriously. Just take a look at the Untappd page and you’ll see less than 50 check-ins, though all praise its deceptively smooth, tropical goodness:
- “Luscious, smooth (11.4% ABV!) Amazing Anchorage pineapple juice.”
- “Pretty phenomenal.”
- “Full, chewy, and delicious!”
- “Oh man. It’s really good.”
- “So gooooooood!!”
Normally, to get access to any spankin’ new behemoth from one of Paste Magazine’s Best Craft Breweries in the Country, you’d have to trek all the way up to Alaska, cozy up to the bar, and hope the thirsty locals didn’t already drank it all up.
But not today. Because our super-tight relationship with Anchorage headbrewer Gabe Fletcher means we get to bring you exclusive access to today’s juice-drenched hopbomb.
Grab a few cans, and be the first among your friends… screw that… one of the first people in the COUNTRY to experience this unbelievably smooth n’ boozy doozy of a brew.
Loaded with some of the juiciest hops around, Composure brims with pithy aromas of grapefruit and citrus peel from a massive triple dry-hopping of Vic Secret and Nelson Sauvin Hops. Layers of papaya, juicy gooseberry, and pineapple swirl around hints of passionfruit and mango kush.
The big ABV is hidden under a thick and pillowy-soft mouthfeel, and a final blast of resinous pine imparts a profile so palate-quenching, you’ll never believe you just downed an 11.4% ABV beast.
Once today’s boozy new juicebomb lands on your door, make sure to grab a sip and snap a pic. Then, send a mass text to your fellow craft beer-lovin’ buds and check it in on Untappd.
‘Cause scoring this hard-to-find, pillowy soft, and dangerously drinkable Quadruple IPA is something you’ll definitely want to brag about.
Composure was just released on 8/24/19 and is already pulling a 4.13 on Untappd!
