A Note on This Beer
Yes, it was only last week that the last Fresh Hop beer appeared in your inbox. But we are not going space these delicious bad boys out. As soon as they make it to us, they are making it to you...
Fremont Brewing is one of Washington’s hop masters, evidence in their Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop Pale Ale. It is one of the most skillfully crafted Pale Ales out there, fresh hopped or not.
Rated 99 overall with 100 for style on RateBeer and an impressive 94 on BeerAdvocate--where it ranks in the top 20 Pales Ales--Cowiche Canyon is a community favorite. Washingtonians and Fresh Hop fans wait with bated breath for its release.
Teaming with up with hop expert Ron Britt, Fremont rounds up the best organic Citra and Simcoe hops (120 lbs to be exact) from Yakima Valley’s majestic Cowiche Canyon. Citra’s grapefruit and lime notes feel fresh squeezed on your tongue. When fresh, Simcoe’s pine and earthy tones are amplified, with a dose of passion fruit brightness. Served on a malt bill of Crystal, Carapils, Pale and Vienna malts, Cowiche Canyon finishes clean, without a lingering bitter.
This once-a-year hop delight is Fremont’s love letter to Cowiche Canyon’s tastiest crop. Fremont donates to Cowiche Canyon Conservancy every year to make sure that this Autumn tradition will continue for years to come.
Of course, we suggest moving up your shipping date to enjoy these as fresh as possible!
