A Note on This Beer
Corn Grits in a Kolsch. New band name, I’m calling it!
Today's quaffable, golden collab between the renowned Iowan crew at Lua and their Minnesotan buddies at Fair State is a fantastic, corny crusher!
To craft it, they whipped up a brew with real corn grits in the mash. Then, they hopped it with experimental Simcoe aroma pellets for a flowery accent atop their easy-drinking golden brew!
It’s all the great parts of Lua’s Kingmaker Kolsch and Fair State’s Crankin’ Foamers Lager in one pour.
Each sip comes loaded with cracklin’ cornbread notes. Those pleasant flavors settle with just a touch of honey sweetness and a hint of jasmine. And, with it’s sessionable ABV, you can enjoy a few ears of corn Kolsch without feeling too buzzed.
Whether you drink this one straight from the can or slow pour it into some proper glassware, Crankin’ Kingfoamers is an all day sipper. You can ponder other band names while you crush it! Because, sorry, “Corn Grits In A Kolsch” is taken.
