A Note on This Beer
U.S.A.Today listed a Belgian White as one of 2018’s Top 20 Best Selling Beers in America. I don’t need to tell you which one it was, let’s just say you can find it at every dive bar in the country and it’s served with an orange slice.
We get it. It’s refreshing, thirst quenching, and pairs well with a burger and fries — what’s not to love? But wouldn’t it be nice to drink one that’s artisanally made by a craft brewery? A killer craft brewery that makes one of BA’s Top 25 of the Style in the World? One that is so flavorful there’s no need to add an orange slice?
That’s what you get from today’s brand spankin’ new Day Old White from Anchorage. It’s a no-brainer!
The award-winning brewery adds a whopping 130 pounds of day-old rustic sourdough bread to the mash and lightly spices it with coriander and tangerine peels.
It tastes like Blue Moon on steroids. It’s packed with way more flavor but harnesses the same ‘down three with dinner’ crushability as the pubside favorite.
I’m not saying America’s favorite Belgian White is a nasty-ass beer. I’m just saying why get mooned when you can have craft?
*Today’s beer is meant to be served on the colder side, 42-48 degrees for optimum refreshment.
