A Note on This Beer
Caught in the Hopicane: A double dry-hopped downpour of Australian Ella Hops and category 5 additions of Citra and Motueka Hops load the eye of this storm with juice. It’s a Fruit Typhoon: Look for lightning flashes of crisp melon and tropical Mandarin orange, followed by thunderous claps of juicy pineapple and sticky peach.
New Image brews rarely leave Colorado, but that didn’t stop us from sharing their original Coriolis Effect IPA. And you guys sucked it all down like a juice-thirsty whirlpool!
Now it’s back, in an amped-up version that features a rarely-seen Australian hop variety known for its notes of mango and grapefuit: DDH Coriolis Effect Ella.
Its blend of New Zealand and American Hops swirl like a tropical juice storm, but the super-soft mouthfeel is more like a gentle breeze. It’s those crazy hop-skills that earned New Image a spot as one of Eater’s Hottest Breweries in Denver.
If you’re curious about Coriolis Effect, grab some cans and see what happens when you gulp it down. Can you feel the swirl of tropical flavor whisking all your worries away like a soft ocean breeze?
Better take another sip, just to be sure.
