About This Beer
To make it, the brewers at Drake’s started with an even bolder version of their beloved Drakonic Imperial Stout. Then they aged it for a full year in a blend of Heaven Hill and Old Forester 1910 barrels! But that wasn’t quite enough, so they also added Amburana wood chips all the way from South America.
Tasting Notes
The base Stout should bring big flavors of chocolate and dried fruit with nuances of mocha and toffee. The barrels add hints of whiskey-caramel, while that exotic hardwood amp things up with notes of vanilla and a touch of coconut!
