A Note on This Beer
When I heard the dark beer masters at Virginia’s Adroit Theory were resurrecting what they call the “biggest, most robust beer we’ve ever brewed” AND they were putting it in cans for the first time ever, I knew I had to get a stash for Tavour.
Dia De Los Muertos is easily one of Adroit’s most enduring favorites, so much so that it often sells out in presales, and it rarely leaves the state!
I can’t blame those Mid-Atlantic craft fans for getting into such a frenzy! This Russian Imperial Stout spills nutty mocha aromas, along with layers of candied fig and molasses-coated espresso from its pitch-black pour.
Semi-sweet dark chocolate notes in today’s Ghost 906 edition cleverly disguise the massive 13.7% ABV, too. Each sip toes the line between roasty and silky, providing a full-bodied taste of Adroit’s mastery. Dia De Los Muertos is a luscious feast of a Stout!
Craft fan @Francis B. sums it up even better: “It’s a thick, creamy, flavorful masterpiece.”
Tavour strictly supports independent beer. Adroit Theory Brewing Company is certified independent by the Brewers Association
