Inspired by a recent trip the owner took to Germany, New Image set out to craft a classic old-world Helles. They started with Colorado-grown and malted barley, German Hallertauer-Mitttelfruh Hops, and their house lager yeast. And by double decocting the mash, the brewers brought out some serious flavor from those simple ingredients.
