About This Beer
Whatever you do, DON’T think about hops. Don’t do it!
And DEFINITELY think about something other than Citra Incognito, Simcoe, Motueka, Sabro, and Talus. Because I wouldn’t want you to get stuck on how Anchorage used them all in this brew, or how they magnified its juiciness with thiol-boosting yeast.
Tasting Notes
Just — whatever you do — please ignore the full, pillowy haze and how it pours with enticing aromas of grapefruit and pine needles. And while you’re at it, fix your attention away from the complex notes that Sabro and Talus introduce into each sip. And please don’t focus on silly things like zesty nuances interwoven with sweet stone fruit and pineapple in a smooth DIPA like this.

WOW! Tropical and Anchorage go together like donuts and pigs feet! But they made it work. Soft and pillowy with such a tropical feel for an ipa. 🍻

extraordinary mouth feel, creamy and dreamy, with just a touch of bitterness to finish, and all the melon you could ever want

I liked it but the hop flavor profile was different (explaining why some didn’t rate it so
highly)

Descriptors are all on point. Soft Sweet Smooth Creamy Tangy Tart. Doesn’t rock me like other releases, and may be heavy on the Thiol Booster but still a luscious brew.

Oh thank you Gabe!

Another winner from Anchorage. Some unique tropical fruit notes that I can’t quite place, and on the sweeter side.

Aggie football appropriate naming edition. This is just a tropical treat. Thick, grapefruit juicy and Anchorage haze consistency. So good, as always. Touch of earthiness for balance.

Exactly what you would expect for an Anchorage beer. Hazy and thick, citrus and some bitterness. they do this style very well.

Another top rated brewery with an IPA that’s not blowing me away. Decent though. Love the can art.

Decent DIPA, nice bold flavor. Nice can artwork, as well.

Exceptionally smooth, creamy, and juicy. Has a very citrus like profile about it with a slightly dank finish
