About This Beer
Fonta Flora and Arizona Wilderness used piles of locally foraged elderflowers to give this brew the fresh, slightly sweet, almost pear-like flavor that makes these blossoms so beloved!
To balance those delicately floral flavors, they rested the brew on a carefully measured dose of lemon zest. And it’s all cascading through a base of local barley and wheat that the brewers cold conditioned into supreme crushability.
Tasting Notes
It’s crisp, clean, and delightfully chuggable, with gorgeous botanicals and a kiss of tangy citrus. Crack one open on a sunny afternoon, and the bottom of the pint will arrive well before you’re ready. Fortunately, you don’t have to stop at one.

A really nice, refreshing beer. The lemon and elderberry added very nice depth.

Elderflower is subtly expressed behind a sweet, pale lager. Builds as it finishes, with the lemon coming on more at the end. Dry, crisp and malty, a great Kolsch with uniquely balanced additions.

Not overly complicated - perfect for when you just want a beer, but so much nicer.

I honestly put off trying this because when I hear “elderflower”, I think St Germains, which is lovely but very sweet. I expected this beer to also be sweet…but not at all. That’s e nose is elderflower, and the taste is a fantastic light bodied beer with some bright citrus notes. Love it!

I definitely get the citrus but the elder flower comes and goes. was really hoping to like this one more.
it’s a nice kolsch but the flavor balance is not quite right.

Beautifully composed, very elegant lager complimented by floral touch of elderflower and the light citrus of lemon zest.

Floral flavor kind of kills the crispness of the kölsch

It’s surprisingly on the tart side, but not so much as to throw the flavor off. All around a good, light, refreshing brew.

Fresh lemon and herbal/floral elderflower. Lovely kölsch. For fans of gin too.

Not a lot going on flavor wise and carb was too low.

This blend has floral and citrus notes that combine harmoniously for a well-balanced flavor.

More like a Witbier than a Kolsch. Fairly lemony and floral.

very light, not much body. but very clean/smooth.

Pleasant scent of elderflower and lemon — fragrant but not overpowering. Light-bodied, with a sparkling, effervescent mouthful. Flavorful and lemon-forward, finishing with a healthy dose of elderflower. Bright and zesty, with a crisp, dry finish. Another successful botanical brew from Fonta Flora, who prove to be very adept in showcasing these more subtle herbal flavors.

not my favorite. had to give the rest to my bf. his taste buds aren’t
quite as up to date as mine are, so he didn’t mind.
