About This Beer
To craft this decadent indulgence, the brewers started with a rich Barleywine base. They first aged it in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels before transferring it to Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for an additional year of aging!
Tasting Notes
Inviting aromas of golden toffee, fig jam, and whiskey vanilla should invite you to take a sip. Look for sumptuous nuances of dark cherry, caramel coated date, and brown sugar on the swig with hints of toasted cinnamon raisin bread and amaretto just underneath. All those pastry-like tones should completely obscure the 15.7% ABV.
