About This Beer
To craft this legendary brew, the 2021 US Open Beer Grand National Champions at Toppling Goliath started with their fluffy King Sue base. Then they gave it a luscious double dry hopping of Citra for vivid bursts of nectar.
Tasting Notes
Waves of drippy mango, bright tangerine, and tangy pineapple course through every luxuriously pillowy sip. Ripe papaya and soft pine waft underneath.

All of the fruit juiciness one can expect from a DIPA brewed with Citra. The floral touch was a surprise. The medium bitterness on the end of each sip serves as a nicesalutation.

Juice for miles! Citrus aftertaste that just goes on and on.

Juicy, citrusy. I would like to the original King Sue. I think I may prefer it to the DDH

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 7/1/22 into a tulip glass.
Look- Creamy straw color, sudsy white head, very hazy, no visible particulate, above average lacing, average head retention.
Smell- Clementine, mango, melon, pineapple, slight pine.
Taste- Extremely flavorful, clementine, pineapple, ripe melon.
Feel- Between medium and full body, high bitterness, mildly creamy, moderately prickly, moderately mouth watering, average carbonation.
Overall- This beer had an outstanding bouquet then I took my first sip and it absolutely punched me in the face with amazing flavors.

Canned nearly 3 months ago and it didn't matter. Either this is the rare IPA that gets better with age or it's even better fresh. Either way, amazing!
