About This Beer
When talking about the best breweries in America, everyone from Thrillist to Paste Magazine has one name on their lips –– Bearded Iris.
Thrillist says they “reign supreme when it comes to their plethora of IPAs.” Heck, their Hazies have made it onto the Best Beers in Country lists of Men’s Journal, The Beer Connoisseur, and more! And at the center of all that hype is Double Homestyle.
The Bearded Iris hop masters crafted this legendary DIPA with mountains of oats for a super soft and fluffy base. Then they loaded it with layers of Mosaic Hops for a complex, juicy, and delicious crusher.
Tasting Notes
Each sip brings dynamic tropical tanginess partnered with nuances of blueberry, peach, and citrus. And all that plush haze hides an 8.2% ABV.

Double Homestyle DIPA… Unique Tavour “Gold Can Edition”. Full-flavor Mosaic with a hint of the power under the hood.

Herbal, malty and juicy, loaded with subtle tropical notes like pineapple, kiwi and also a hint of raisin. Lightly piney finish with almost no bitterness.

4.31/5 look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a IPA glass. Look- Pale gold, very slightly hazy, frothy white head, average head retention, above average lacing. Smell- Melon, mandarin orange, pineapple, slightly dank. Taste- Ripe melon, apricot, pineapple, mandarin orange, slightly boozy finish. Feel- Medium body, clean finish, slightly mouth warming, creamy, moderate bitterness. Overall- Nice double IPA.

Smooth for 8.2 with more resin than fruit but still delicious and crushable.

Super disappointed as it seems I have fallen victim to another case of hops-lost-in-transit that is an inherent risk when ordering IPAs via Tavour. I thought the higher abv might indicate stronger resiliency. Not the case here. My beer is not unpleasant, but really only has minimal taste w nearly no hop character. This is rated world class on BA. Sad times.

Nashville’s best brewery IMHO!

Solid beer but I wish I had tried it when they first canned this. It was a little soapy and I wasn’t a huge fan of this one.

Let’s take a fishing break. edition. Homestyle is one of my fave beers, and this edition pleases immensely. Just so clean and crisp, hop candy goodness that finishes dry and fast. So good.
