About This Beer

At least once a year, I get a wild hair and resolve to make a smoothie every morning for breakfast. Inevitably, I end up failing.

That’s when things get interesting.

My breakfast aspiration becomes late-night inspiration. Not wanting to waste fruit, I combine whatever I have in the kitchen to blend boozy concoctions.

903 Brewing’s Double Puff Slush feels like a kindred spirit. They’ve emptied their cupboards to create a Fruited Berliner Weisse with sharp blackberry, succulent apricot, silky vanilla, and soft marshmallow. Breakfast of champions? Try nightcap of legends!

Tasting Notes

In less capable hands, this brew would be a tart bomb. But 903’s purple pouring Sour pits brambleberry acidity against stone fruit sweetness for a palate-pleasing balance.

And of course, this thick sipper features swirls of vanilla and mounds of marshmallows! The pillowy soft, sugary lift is the key to taking your self-care regimen from boring to fun-restoring. The 6.2% ABV helps, too.

The description of a slush doesn’t do it justice. Imagine you go to Whole Foods, or for me here in California the nugget, and they had a beer garden where, much like a juice bar, made all their own beers and they came out with this poured into a wonderful glass and served cold. That’s what it was like for me popping this brewski open and sipped on it.
