Since opening their doors less than 6 years ago, Modern Times Brewing has taken over the entire West Coast. This employee-owned kingdom of craft now sprawls from San Diego to Portland, with 5 locations slinging juice-soaked hazies to craft fiends.

These guys were among the first breweries in Cali to embrace New England-style IPAs, and they built their brewing empire by converting old-school pine and resin loving West Coast hopheads into juice gulping Haze-fiends.

Apparently it’s worked. Fans on BA have pushed Modern Times to an astounding 4.13 brewery rating. That’s higher than Surly, Russian River, and Lawson’s!

West Coast craft fans are overjoyed to have Modern Times’ special releases in their local bottle shops, but the rest of the country just can’t get these hyper-limited brews. If you want a taste of the brewery that’s got everyone between SoCal and Seattle jumping on the haze-train, grab a few cans of today’s Dreamspeaker IPA.

Brewed with obscene quantities of Citra, Motueka, and Cascade Hops, this 7.2% ABV dream absolutely overflows with bright, tropical flavors. Swirls of juicy tangerine and lime slide across the palate, followed by ripe mango and hints of apricot and peach. Malted wheat and flaked oats in the mashbill create a pillow soft mouthfeel that’s sippable all day long.
