About This Beer
Gold medalist at both the GABF and Brussels Beer Challenge!
pFriem collaborated with Brooks Estate Vineyards on a Riesling-infused Lambic-style Ale. They began this masterful creation by aging the base brew for 10 months in French oak wine barrels from Brooks’ cellars. Then they conditioned it on 3.5 lb per gallon of Riesling wine grapes.
Tasting Notes
The combination of sweet and dry varieties gives this elegant hybrid style a full bouquet of vinous aromas and layered flavors. The sip starts out tart, with crisp carbonation and fresh fruit nuances. Green grape tones dance with hints of pear, lemon zest, and jasmine tea. A mild, oaky funk gives the finish a tannic touch.

Rich vinous scent with hints of florals. Flavors of a dry white wine and notes of grape. Finishes with hints of rose and a whisper of oak. Effervescent mouthfeel of a brut champagne.

Excellent tingly mouthfeel. Getting sour green apple. This is the kind of beer that makes me realize life is a blessing, and I feel such gratitude to those involved in the production. For fans of Sauvignon blanc and sour beers—look no further!

it's like a dry woody white wine with a very light short aftertaste
