A Note on This Beer
When it comes to drinkable fruit, not many breweries can compete with Casey Brewing and Blending. They’re one of the Top 10 Breweries in the World on Untappd, and their hyper-limited Fruited Ales keep fans screaming for more!
And they’re making some serious noise for today’s pair of Honey Farmhouse Ales from the beloved East Bank series: East Bank: Apricot and East Bank: Peach.
These brews share a host of delicious similarities. First off, they’re both absolutely loaded with locally-grown stone fruit. They’ve also both got mild tartness and lemon zest notes from the Saison-like base beer, and hints of wild funk from mixed fermentation in Oak Barrels. And they both finish with touches of sweetness from local honey.
Both beers are 100% unfiltered, so the bold peach and apricot flavors can really shine! They’re like a duo of homemade fruit preserves, lovingly created by your crafty uncle — assuming your uncle is founder and head brewer, Troy Casey.
Normally these effervescent brews don’t leave Colorado, but today you can score both 4.29 UT-rated bottles. Because even if Troy isn’t actually your uncle, you’re still a member of our craft beer family.
