A Note on This Beer

Today’s juicy blast is the seventh edition in the 4+ UT-rated Easy Peel series from Adventurous Brewing. And, it’s already climbing the ranks, clamoring to be the king of them all — early sippers rate it a lofty 4.47!

Adventurous loaded this swoon-worthy 8.3% ABV brew with “enormous” amounts of Mosaic and Mosaic Cryo Hops. Then, they Triple Dry-Hopped it for incredible notes of ripe mango, bursting blueberry, and tangy-bright citrus. A mighty gust of spiced pine bitterness blows through on the finish, prepping the palate for more juicy sips!

So hazy you can taste it! This one is thick and citrusy. Not sure why they were inclined to put that sticker on top. Looks great to me.

3.8/5 look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a snifter. Look- Pale gold, hazy, below average head retention, average lacing. Smell- Tangerine, mango. Taste- Vibrant flavor, tangerine, mango, tart, extremely pithy/astringent. Feel- Between medium and full body, extremely astringent, creamy, low bitterness, average carbonation. Overall- Flavor is very vibrant and pleasant to start, then becomes overwhelmingly astringent.

Date: 03/06/21. Aroma is punchy pineapple and soft florals. Pineapple in the flavor is bold with citrus underneath. The amount of fruit from Mosaic and Cryo Mosaic is impressive. Lots of juice texture with zero bitterness. Really nice!

I'd go a 4.5, but I opened my can with some white clumps in it. Didn't find out until halfway through the can. Flavor was juicy and soft. great little hop finish. very drinkable, but unfortunately had to pour a good portion down the drain. canned 3.6.21, so I'm not sure what the residue was, but it didn't look like regular turb. Disappointing, as if this beer tastes this good and I didn't get the full and proper flavor, I feel like I'm missing out on something special.

Incredible mango, citrusy aromas. Soft mouthfeel that gives way to some nice bitterness on the end. Initially, I got a ton of mango, along with some berry, zesty citrus, and green melon notes. More citrusy, and a more noticeable pine finish as it warmed from the fridge. Really, really solid.
