About This Beer
To celebrate their eighth anniversary, New Image crafted a velvety Milk Stout and aged it for a whole year in Superstition Mead barrels — and the result is pretty mind-blowing!
Not only is it incredibly rare to find a rich, cocoa-y sipper aged in honey-soaked oak, but when those casks come from a Mazer Cup winning meadery celebrated for their Berry White series of Melomels, you know you’re in for a treat.
Tasting Notes
Each full-bodied quaff fills your mouth with a flurry of bramble fruit nuances and smooth milk chocolate. Complex tobacco, coffee, and molasses tones complement the ganache notes and expertly conceal the 12.52% ABV. And with the lactose in the base adding an extra-silky feel to every honeyed sip, Eight makes a luxurious dessert or toast to a special occasion.
