A Note on This Beer
New York City craft fans are all hopping aboard KCBC’s new El Tren — and absolutely loving it!
@Will S. on Untappd sipped the crisp, biscuity thirst quencher and applauded El Tren as the “Best Mexican Lager I've had from an American microbrewery.”
@Tom Y. went as far as saying you’re “probably not going to find a Lager this good for a long time!”
We wholeheartedly agree! This brew crushes thirst with more flavor than any watery macro brew you’d find at the grocery store!
KCBC crafted El Tren as a true-blue Mexican Lager, with traditional Pilsner and Vienna Malts and flaked corn to deliver a soft, cereal-grainy sweetness in every sip. And, with a dose of Tettnanger and Magnum Hops in the mix, each spritzy mouthful gets a blast of hoppy spice and a lemongrassy finish.
Since KCBC brews don’t venture far from New England, you’ll wanna get ready to catch it fast. El Tren is only making a short stop on Tavour, so Hop Aboard while you still can!
Rated 4.05 on Untappd!
