About This Beer
The crew at Maine’s Foundation Brewing first created Epiphany Imperial IPA back in 2014.
At the time, the term ‘New England IPA’ barely existed, and no one really knew what to call juicy, hazy brews like this. When asked what the style was, the brewers always said, “we just call it our Maine IPA.”
Tasting Notes
One sip of the pineapple-meets-grapefruit flavors, piney notes, and slight, pithy bitterness, and you’ll understand why Epiphany has maintained its beloved status over the years.

Thick and juicy; heady, boozy flavor up front, with subtle hints of lemon, fennel and pine; sticky and mildly bitter finish.

4.51/5 look: 4.5 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.5 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a IPA glass. Look- Medium gold, hazy, average head retention and lacing. Smell- Very fragrant, orange, pithy, mango, resin, melon. Taste- Upfront; ripe melon, orange, mango. Finishes; pithy, spicy, resin. Feel- Between thin and medium body, creamy, between medium and high bitterness, very astringent lingering finish, below average carbonation. Overall- Great beer, very complex.

Solid DIPA. Orange/Grapfruit is pretty light, which can be nice. Not a game changer but solid.

Really smooth IPA. They say it’s not an E or W coast IPA but a Maine IPA and I get it. Super juicy but also really light.
