Exquisite Blend #4 is a combination of three different English Barleywines:
One aged 18 months in Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year Bourbon barrels
Another conditioned in Elijah Craig 20 Year Bourbon barrels for 20 months
A third that spent a whopping 27 months in Thomas H. Handy Rye Whiskey barrels.
Tasting Notes
Head brewer and founder Kyle Harrop carefully combined the beers, unlocking flavors of rich caramel and toffee. Nuances of plum, date, and fig, swirl throughout the poor, leading to hints of whiskey on the finish.
