5/7/21 no idea a NZ Pils was a thing, but it should be! One of the most interesting and best Pilsners I’ve ever had. NZ hops for the win with their vinous, tropical, grassy notes! The foeder aging is apparent, adding an elegant nuance to the dry finish.

I’m not a fan of beers dry-hopped with tutti-frutti hops, although the paper umbrella drink quality is more muted here than usual. But I feel it covers up the oak. It’s drinkable but muddled in concept.

A bit more dry hop finish than I'd like on my pilsners but besides the style remark on it's sweet finish it's pretty nice upfront oaky biscuits.
