This is an odd one.. It literally tasted as if I had blended a saison & a basic chocolate porter together.

It’s almost like a session black ipa.

Like a dark chocolate saison. Delicious.

Different in a good way!

This is a strange beer. Imagine blending a saison and a porter – that’s essentially what’s going on here. The dark porter flavors mostly win, but the spicy notes and fruity esters of the saison make things... interesting. It’s definitely different.

With so much roastiness and chocolatey goodness in this beer it is amazingly light bodied and easy-drinking. Great example of how pushing boundaries can be delicious!
