Besides, the fine folks at Cincinnati’s Urban Artifact have taken care to crunch the fruity numbers inside their juicy Fire Iron Tropical Midwest Fruit Tart — and the results will blow you away!

Brewing every batch of this Ale with 1500 pounds of drippy guava, 500 pounds of creamy banana, and 400 pounds of ripe passion fruit ensures that each can contains one-quarter of pink guava, half a banana, and three-quarters of a passion fruit.

Tasting Notes

The lip-smacking tropicality will take your taste buds to paradise, with every pink pour swirling with balanced waves of sweet and tart. And while the banana never overwhelms, it adds a smooth mouthfeel to the delightfully light body.

You won’t even notice as the body-warming 8.5% ABV creeps up on you and renders your math skill worthless.

Weirdly inconsistent, I see some people’s pours look like a smoothie almost and some are just clear and golden. Very fruity with banana seeming to dominate the tropical flavors in the background. Pleasantly tart and easily drinkable. Smells a little strange but I like it.

Very great sour. Clear and crisp. Juicy vibes with great tropical fruits, definitely get the guava. Clears out to a pleasant funky sour that kicks in on the back end. Exactly what you’re are looking for in a sour. Pairs well with spicy Thai or other nice spicy umami packed dishes.

Though a sour, this beer isn't nearly as strong on the sour as others I've had before it. I like that it's semi thick and tastes a little bit like a smoothie. I think that thickness cuts down on some of the sour taste which is nice. Enjoyed cold, it is pretty refreshing but I don't know if I would go as far as to buy this again.

One of the best fruit beers I've had. The ABV is dangerously hidden by the amount of fruit. Pours a hazy orange/banana color, slightly thick but easily drinkable. Would try this one again.
