A Note on This Beer
Chances are, if you ask a baby boomer, they’ll remember exactly where they were on July 20, 1969. That’s the day Neil Armstrong took “one small step for man" and "one giant leap for mankind.”
I’ll admit, I’m not quite old enough to remember that historic moment. But, I’ll definitely remember the first time I tried Flying Upward from Beer Tree!
This Imperial IPA explodes with flavors that are so velvety-smooth and sippable, it’ll be one for the history books — or at least, my Untappd page.
To help lift your taste buds into the stratosphere, the brewers loaded this Imperial IPA with two-row malt, flaked oats, flaked wheat, and soft white wheat, for a supremely light and fluffy mouthfeel.
Intensely fruity Cashmere Hops add notes of creamy melons, while Rakau Hops burst with juicy peaches and nectarines. Zesty Citra Hops bring up the rear, with invigorating flavors of grapefruit and orange peel. It’s like someone took a frothy fruit smoothie and spiked it with a bold 8.3% ABV!
I’m not the only one who feels like they’ve been walking on the moon! @Reed D. calls this hazy-licious treat “thick, creamy, and light...like drinking a cloud.” @Tammy S. raves, “Juicccccy!” and @Andrew M. gushes, “sooooo good!”
With each taste, I want to hold up my can and declare, “one small sip for man, one giant gulp for craft kind!” Hey, I may not be able to bounce in low gravity in real life, but this buoyant brew is the next best thing.
